GMVS Theatre
Meet The Team

Nick Caycedo
Director/Choreographer
Nick is thrilled to be back at GMVS after an exhilarating experience directing Mamma Mia! last fall. Nick was born and raised in Vermont where he cultivated a rich passion for the performing arts. His junior year of high school, he left Vermont to attend Walnut Hill School of the Arts in Natick, MA. There he deepened his understanding of his craft and discovered his desire for a life in theatre arts. He went on to study acting at Ithaca College, where he earned a BFA.
Nick has performed on stages around the country, including, most recently, a Pre-Broadway production of a new musical called Kiss My Aztec written by John Leguizamo, as well as a new Off-Broadway musical called, Good Morning New York in 2019. Nick is a director at Very Merry Theatre and has directed at several Vermont schools. He sits on the Board of Directors at Middlebury Acting Company and is a proud member of Actor's Equity.
He currently splits his time and talents between Vermont and New York City. He lives in downtown Burlington with his partner, Ryan, and pup, Lincoln.
